  Hi guys! This month, I harvested my oyster mushrooms from the mushroom block and cooked a delicious stir-fry with them and some bok choy I helped grow in the garden. Surprisingly I enjoyed it very much! I did not think I would eat the mushrooms as they sure looked strange. I am now trying to grow a second flush of mushrooms in a new location with more sunlight and warmth to see if I can get an even bigger harvest this time around. Learning new things in Discovery is really cool. I’ve also been hanging more of my own photography on the wall. The pictures were taken at Yatton Park and Rotary Park, and the display is looking great! Along with keeping the centre and garden looking tidy, I went to the Tauranga Event Cinemas to check out the new Michael Jackson movie. It was so cool hanging out with my mates!  I had a fantastic time performing the Cha Cha Slide with the iDance crew. Hi friends, I spent a wonderful day with Coastcare at Mount Maunganui, helping to plant around 200 spinifex grass plants in the dunes. I’ve also been downloading the photos I took for my "photography for self-expression" project at Yatton Park. In my spare time, I’ve been playing games, singing music with friends, and watching the movie ' Pan' . I also had a great time at the Bay Active inclusive fitness afternoon, and have been keeping up my regular workouts at Blaze Gym! On top of all that, I watched a tutorial on growing Oyster mushrooms and have officially started my own batch. I've been keeping a close eye on them to make sure they stay watered. I'm really looking forward to getting into the kitchen soon to create a yummy recipe with them!

I went out to Growers direct and took some beautiful photos of different plants and flowers!

I took some aweome snaps of nature when i was out and about with my photography crew. I loved this pretty colour flower.   

  I had a great time exploring the Blue Springs in Patararu. It was a nice nature walk and the water was so crystal clear!
